Supporting Local Performing Arts

If you've read my blog this far, you know that I like supporting the local business. Here is something fun to do in the Valley.

Mesa Arts Center (MAC) is gearing up for their 2011-2012 season of performances and productions. My husband and I try to go to at least two performances per year. We choose music; we've seen Wynton Marsalis, Lang Lang, Straight No Chaser. We choose plays; we're huge fans of Southwest Shakespeare Company. (Plus, being married to an English professor, we see Shakespeare plays a lot.) One year, we even went to some Asian Acrobats performance (and they're back this year).

Anyway, it's a beautiful performing arts center with 4 theaters. Go buy your tickets!
