TGIF & Libraries

I love libraries.
When I was in high school, my friend Becky and I used to go every week.  We kept all of our books in the back of her trunk: a bookmobile.  Such nerds, we were.

But still...
They have all of the these books/movies that you can read/watch for free!  In this economy, it's the best thing ever.

I discovered so many new authors through the library.

My husband and I recently started going again, now that our little lambie is able to walk around and admire the pictures and book displays. I really hope she will be as enamored with the library as I am.

Anyway, sometimes I feel like the life of certain libraries are dying (like the Mesa Public Library is in a sad state).  So, support your local libraries!  It's a worthy cause.

And don't forget to read!

Curl Up with a Good Mystery

For years, I've loved reading Agatha Christie mysteries. They are my go-to when I'm looking to curl up with a good murder. mwa ha ha.

While I haven't read all of her books, my favorite is The Boomerang Clue (also called Why Didn't They Ask Evans?). It's just the cutest story with two budding young crime investigators who are good friends. (It's a non-Poirot, though I do love Poirot, and non-Miss Marple.)

Have any of you read Agatha? What other mystery writers do you enjoy?

*I've read 4 of the 6 above. How many have you read?

The fast and Entertaining times

My guilty pleasure: Entertainment Weekly.

When it arrives in the mail, I sit in my corner of the couch and read the whole thing through in one sitting.
