Welcome to Grammar Lesson Monday!
This continuous series will address many common grammar mistakes made in the media and that I've seen more than once. I strive to make the world a better place with good grammar.
Today, we will learn about nauseous and nauseated.
I am always guilty of this rule...
Nauseous is used when someone/something makes you feel yucky.
Nauseated is used to describe the state when you are actually already yucky.I was nauseated after seeing that disgusting picture.
That's it for today. Celebrate good grammar!
