Grammar Lesson Monday: Nauseous vs. Nauseated

Welcome to Grammar Lesson Monday!
This continuous series will address many common grammar mistakes made in the media and that I've seen more than once.  I strive to make the world a better place with good grammar.

Today, we will learn about nauseous and nauseated.
I am always guilty of this rule...

Nauseous is used when someone/something makes you feel yucky.
That disgusting picture makes me nauseous.

Nauseated is used to describe the state when you are actually already yucky.
I was nauseated after seeing that disgusting picture.

That's it for today.  Celebrate good grammar!
