The Christian Writers of the West are having their annual Phoenix Rattlers writing contest. "Does your story have bite?" Submissions are being accepted RIGHT NOW! (from Aug. 1-29)
Submissions only need the first 15 pages of your unpublished manuscript (self-published is legitimate), plus a one-page synopsis.
>> Karen's tip: start working on your synopsis immediately! They are hard to write.
Entries are $25 per submission.
You can submit as many times as you want.
The contest is a great opportunity to get some real feedback from editors and agents.
I've got my submission ready...and am waiting to critique it with my good friend.
