Grammar Lesson Monday: Your and You're

Welcome to Grammar Lesson Monday!
This continuous series will address many common grammar mistakes made in the media and that I've seen more than once.  I strive to make the world a better place with good grammar.

Today, we will learn how to differentiate between "your" and "you're."

"Your" is possessive.
No, I will not shake your hand!

"You're" is a contraction of "you" and "are."
No, I will not shake your hand!  You're covered in filth!

The difference between "your" and "you're" is very similar to "their" and "they're."

That's it for today.  Celebrate good grammar!
